Murdered Nigerian teenager was family’s favourite, says source.
Agnes Sina-Inakoju, the 16-year old teenager who was killed by a strayed bullet in Hackney, East London has been described as the favourite of the family, having been instrumental to the Europe coming of all her other siblings.
A family source claimed that Agnes, commonly called Toun within the family circle was the most caring and most loved in the family.
The source said: “She was buzzing with ambitions and was very clean to the chore.
A report in the media had already quoted the family source as having described Toun as charismatic and caring.
The 16-year old was shot in the neck in an east London takeaway qeueing up to receive her packed chicken and chips from the shop attendant.
She was shot through the window of Hoxton Chicken and Pizza, in Hoxton Street, Hackney, East London by two people on mountain bikes on Wednesday night.
A 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man have already been charged for the murder opf the lively teenager.
Agnes died of her injuries in hospital last Friday morning.
Detectives said there was no evidence Agnes was a gang member and it was likely she was not the intended target.
In a statement issued by the Metropolitan Police, the family accused Agnes’s killers of “cowardice”.
They added: “Agnes… was a charismatic, ambitious, loving and caring girl who strove to keep others happy.
“We are still asking questions: Who? Why? How? and What for?
“These questions will haunt us for the rest of our lives.
“Our questions can only be answered if the police are able to apprehend those who committed such a… crime against our family.”
The family said Agnes had visited Oxford University with friends a week before she was murdered.
They added: “We appeal to anyone who knows anything about the murder of Agnes to come forward so as to prevent this from happening to another family.”
