Funke Adeyemi, celebrating 50years birthday in grand style… says “I owe all to my creator”

It was the most talked about birthday celebration in London town.

Funke Adeyemi created for herself a new celebrity status commemorating her 50th birthday anniversary in grand style recently in London.

Friends, family members, neighbours and many well-wishers from across the world converged to give her a befitting celebration which only can be equated to the wedding of the daughter of a most distinguished Royal ascendant, or a birthday celebration of a most distinguished Princess from the most world famous Royal family.

Of course, Funke is a Princess, coming from a most influential family background in Ibokun ,Oshun state of Nigeria. Her father, Pa Akinson Adeyemi was a well known figure in Ijeshaland, a  first class social icon and a most influential business man. Pa was a distinguished personality who lived a very decent but expensive lifestyle till death. He was an amiable celebrity who lived a most flamboyant life to the end. Many of the old school assocites will attest to Papa’s lifestyle.

So it was not really surprising that Funke’s classy party had a touch of class inheritance. The celebration extra-ordinary commenced on 6th March 2010, Funke and Banji,(her partner)  had a warm up Jeans and T-Shirt party at Tom & Jerry in Stratford East London.

It was a great fun seeing  a huge turnout of many  old life school  graduands out doing their  yahoozee era challengers digging it out on the dance floor.

It was an amazing sight- an extra ordinary concentration of old and new life school.

The main party was held on Easter Saturday 3rd April 2010 with a thanksgiving Service at CAC Gospel Generation at Leytonstone.

The main party  reception was held at  The Oasis, Thames Road, Barking where more than 600 well-wishers from far and near converged to dance the night away with the celebrant.

Funke was full of excitement and all she could murmur was to give glory to God for a life well spent in the past fifty years:“ God has spared my life and I owe HIM all adoration for making me to witness my 50th year birthday”.

“I thank everybody for their presence, presents and contributions, May the Almighty God bless you abundantly”, she continued. “We owe  Almighty God the maker of Heaven and Earth for divine protection for consecutive 50 years.

I am a living proof that the Lord is good. I thank God for His mercies, favour and blessings bestowed upon me and my entire family.

The road has been rocky but Glory, Honour and Adoration to my maker”. Funke was full of encomiums for her mum, Princess Felicia Abosede Akinson Adeyemi for her love and support “from my first day on this Planet earth”.

“I would also like to thank Banji and my children, Tina, Martin, Yinka and Biola.

Also , my sincere greetings  go to all my sisters and brothers and the entire family of Adeyemi”. For Funke, it has been a more period of fulfilment as all plans put in place was accomplished- a feat that not many have been able to really meet as the plans were put on the table. Hers was an extreme luck wired by divine touch of the creator as all her dreams for the party came to fulfillment.

We congratulate her and wish her a good health and more fruitful accomplishment while praying  for  a more divine protection of God over her and the entire family.
