We mourn Da ‘Grin: He was denied as a youth by the nation, he made a way and put smiles on many faces
We mourn with innate feel the death of a very illustrious son of the nation, young in age but very much matured in ideas, talents and achievement.
Da ‘Grin is one of those Nigerians who broke the barrier of poverty through hard-work, dedication, self discovery and commitment.
He is one of those Nigerians thrown on the street by the nation’s opportunistic ruling class who had adduced ownership of the wealth of the nation to themselves thereby neglecting the nation’s strong willed working class by not providing sources of employment.
Many younger generations and middle class nation’s strong hands had been condemned into obscurity and oblivion by the few criminals in our midst claiming to be our leaders.
The criminal abandonment of our productive youths today has left the world aghast with shock and disbelief as they watch the nation waste away her immediate future.
Whoever watch the recent documentary on the BBC’s recent broadcast,’ This is Lagos’ will attest to the fact that Nigerian youths are die hard hustlers with unflinching determination and unbent penchant for hard-work to attain success even in the presence of the most dreadful dangers.
Like several of our creative Nollywood stars and hundreds of the nation’s musician who found solace in their innate creativity, thereby establishing a good cause of self pursuit to shame an uncaring system, Olayitan Olanipekun Oladipo discovered himself and through his creativity found success which he extended to hundreds around him.
Alas! The wicked hand of death unfortunately grabbed the ingenious hip-hop star from us all. It’s so sad. We wish the family a divine replacement while praying that God will give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
We implore the nation’s youths to follow the foot steps of Olayitan and continue to fight on against government inflicted poverty and make a way to make Nigeria a worthy place to live through self effort and continuous will and wit to fight off poverty.
There is hope that nature will one day fight back to enable us all have a say in the nation. We hope one day we can all have our rights grabbed back so we can have a say in our self governing and fight off the selfish morons who have ruined our dear nation in pursuit of their selfish goals.

The death of this young talent is a great loss to music lovers worldwide. Unfortunately, I had about him only after his death.Bought a cd called C.E.O just two weeks ago. My discovery based on what I heard is remarkably unbelievable .A great entertainer he really is. I cannot lay my thought on one single track as the best.Track after track is wonderful. For a man born and raised in Nigeria to do this very moving songs, really tells me that Nigeria did produced a great singer. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. May the Lord give his parents the strenght to bear his loss. He is young, short life, probably short career but he attained MASSIVE success.
