A special prayer session is to be held for the Late Prince Bayo Gbadebo,  the London popular socialite and humanitarian who died last week- end in a ghastly accident on Lagos –Ibadan expressway. The memorial prayer session date is Sunday June 27, 2010.

A Press release from the Committee of Friends claimed the special prayer session will be held in memory of the late father of three in order to commence a long period of reflection and celebration of his well accomplished life in a sombre and self reflective way.

“We all feel touched about his death and will never supplement his nicety for anything else” claimed a very close associate who wants anonymity.

The venue of the prayer according to our source will be Hackney Wick Community Center, in the Old Bath Eastway, London E9 5JN.

Sources are urging all interested friends and associates to be prompt as the service has been scheduled to commence at 6pm and will end by 10pm prompt.

Members of the Public have been advised to come to the venue in white attires and not in black as characteristics of a mourning period.

“We are not mourning, just celebrating his eventful life and success, knowing fully that he is on the bosom of the Lord”, our source said.

Prince Gbadebo lived an eventful life as a frontline Church activist and philanthropist working in the vine yard of God at Celestial Church of Christ, Covenant Parish where he was a foundation and life member.

He was the Publisher of the glossy Social Magazine, Forum which had been in existence  for more than ten years.

    A tribute to Late Prince Bayo Gbadebo :

    DEAR PRINCE GBADEBO, MILLIONS OF HEARTS ARE GRIEVING ;
    NONE HAD EVER THOUGHT YOU WERE ABOUT TO BE LEAVING !

    The English poet, P. B. Shelley, in his poetry, titled : DEATH, written by him in 1820, just two years before her own death ( at the prime age of 30 ), had narrated the ubiquitous scenario of death as follows :

    DEATH IS HERE AND DEATH IS THERE,
    DEATH IS BUSY EVERYWHERE,
    ALL AROUND, WITHIN, BENEATH,
    ABOVE IS DEATH—AND WE ARE (IN THE LAP OF) DEATH !.

  2. May the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace.May God comfort all those left behind . All will be well in Jesus Name .Please accept our sincere condolences. Chief Mrs Yemisi A Sanusi
