Go, Nuhu Ribadu go, your country needs you… now, before it’s too late

The nation’s politics is about to witness a major turnaround and this new impending development may signal a new era of silent political revolution for the nation in her almost four trials of civil rule experimentation.
For long, Nigeria has yearned for the right political leadership and the right type of political direction.
The nation having been raped, bastardised, humiliated, disorientated and even killed off many times by elements of retrogression whose only pre-occupation is to loot the treasury, is in dire and desperately need of a young, vibrant and dedicated selfless leader with passion, new energy, better ideas and visions.
The nation, having experienced many stages of political misadventure pinned on recycled leadership and faulting and overpriced presidential system come 2011 must channel a new type of leadership, new political direction and new initiatives to drive the people the people along the road of democracy and not isolating them while the leaders embark on disgraceful exploitation by denying their right and stealing what belongs to them.
It is very shameful that fifty years after, the people are yet to experience the true benefit of democracy, albeit the practicing presidential system of government.
It is very unfortunate in today’s political dispensation that despite billions of pounds and dollars being expended on the presidential system, here had never been sincerity in the nation’s polity.
What has unfolded however in recent years has always been high level embezzlement and conspiracy with many outsiders to rape batter and dump our dear country.
A new energy input by new breed of leaders for the nation may go a long way in breaking the nation’s current political logjam and non-direction.
Nuhu Ribadu, our astute statesman, moral revolutionary, educationist, moralist,( his tags are endless) seems to be a choice of the people without any mincing words.
He has demonstrated a high level of integrity and he is loved by all and only detested by the nation’s vultures whose ambition it is to retain and stuck the nation in it s current spiritual darkness.
Nuhu is on the verge of being dragged into the nation’s political center-stage.
If this is so, the nation will no doubt be heading towards a new political salvation, a new political spiritual direction, with imminent disengagement from the current stalemate, having been flagrantly raped for long by a tiny section of the populace.
Ribadu’s political engagement will no doubt propel a positive society with vision and direction and no doubt will usher in a new political texture governed by rule of law, accountability probity, transparency and many more positive changes.
Al those good virtues erstwhile have been swept under the carpet while the opportunistic leaders continue to show disregard for the nation through public fund embezzlement, unabated siphon of the nation’s fortune abroad and the continuous political monopoly by some desperate cabal who continuously pull back the nation’s progress, having arrogated ownership of the nation to themselves.
Nigeria political journey for long has been one with regrets and sober, such that our freedom fighters look down from heaven and bleeding with terrible heart breaks and agonize with continuous regrets about the state of our nation.
In today’s Nigeria, our politicians only fend for themselves and not the electorates.
Our parliamentarians are too comfortable to understand the extent of our nation’s misrule tragedy.
The nation needs a new direction as many of our parliamentary members are only bench warmers who have never impacted really into our national political psyche despite the nation operating one of the most expensive systems in the world.
To add salt on injury, the polity has had the misfortune of lacking in real strong opposition. It is non- existent.
The nation seems to have trailed the path of the old sage that in the city of the blind, a one-eyed man is the king. It is not an exaggeration to say that the current ruling party has adopted of a winner take all posture, treating the nation’s fortune like it is party’s fortune. It is very sad.
We neeed a change and the change can only be brought about through a dedicated and selfless leader and thiese traits are embedded in Nuhu Ribadu.
The nation needs a political revolution, or shall we say political salvation not to sound alarming to those sit tight opportunists.
Not a revolution laced with physical attack but one with a more academic and more tactical texture such that will bring about a real change to our body polity.
It is indeed a truism that our political life has long been con terminated and needs a major sanitizing.
It is indeed unfortunate that lack of courage by today’s youths in the area of coming forward as leaders may have prompted Former President Babangida coming back even at his night hour of living.
With the likes of Ribadu coming to Nigeria’s political stage, many vibrant, young, and able Nigerians will follow suit an then we can grab back the gretaness endowed to our nation.
We implore Ribadu to throw down the gauntlet and take up the candidature of AC as a big political challenge and as a sign of good hope for the generality of Nigerians and posterity.
The nation needs Ribadu now.; For him, the age is right, the charisma is right, the image is right and we believe he has the clout around the world to turn Nigeria round. We have many vibrant youths who will compliment his efforts of reshaping Nigeria.
He is capable of bringing Nigeria back to line from the current unpredictability and uncertainties.
Action Congress has done its research and has made a right choice in Ribadu.
Go for it Nuhu as the whole nation is behind you. Your country needs you at this hour of uncertainty before posterity starts to question your refusal if events in future sinks the nation further into oblivion
Nigerian politics no doubt will henceforth take a different dimension.
Ribadu will no doubt change the political texture and overturn the current political stage monopoly by the PDP cabals holding our nation into ransom.
