All hail the golden couple, Patience Dickson Airienbuwa and Emmanuel Urhiofe on their special day.
It was the gathering of who is who in Benin City in Edo State recently when former Miss Patience Dickson Airienbuwa was formerly joined in holy matrimony to Mr Emmanuel Urhiofe, journalist and Human resources expert.
The glamorous wedding ceremony which took place at the Church of God Mission, Technical School Road, Benin City was rounded up with a sumptuous reception party at a civic at the Oxonian centre in Okhoro road, Benin City.
The ceremony attracted the creme de la creme of the community, including family members and well wishers. Chairman of the ceremony, Professor Da Silva of the University of Ibadan, urged the couple to live in harmony. Earlier, the couple, who have known each other for more than a decade, were joined in a well attended traditional ceremony on the 5th of August at the home of the bride.
Pastor Edomareniye, who presided over the church service, reminded the couple of the original purpose of marriage, adding that it was an institution ordained by God. The venue of the reception was turned into a carnival-like celebration as the couple, who occasionally changed costume danced to the admiration of their parents, loved ones and extended family.

The bride, a Personnel Officer at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun Warri speaking after the day’s celebrations told the press and close associates: “I am happy for this day, because it is the day I have dreamt for, which the Lord has made special for me. “ I am glad I have married my long stand sweetheart”.
While she spoke, the groom, who is an IT specialist and editor of African Voice newspaper in London, nodded in admiration giving dazzling occasional smile to those who gathered. Emnnews.com wishes the couple a happy married life.
