Ex- governor Orji Kalu in murder drama as woman 47, dies in his America home

A big riddle is unfolding as Police in the United States intensify efforts to establish the cause of the death of a 48-year old Nigerian woman who died in the private residence of the former governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu in Maryland, USA.
The incident occurred on August 19 in the United States as Chinwe was said to have died from suspected internal organ failure, suspiciously triggered by ingestion of alcohol. Friends confirmed that Chinwe suffered from high blood pressure according to friends.
The light complexioned lady, formerly married to one Okechukwu Ogbonna, reportedly arrived the ex-governor’s home at 14900 River Road, Potomac, Maryland at 8.30 pm on the fateful day, Thursday, August 19. According to sources, she had reportedly gone to deliver cologne purchased by the ex-governor at her shop during a previous U.S. visit in June this year. There were four other Nigerians at the ex-governor’s home at the time of Chinwe’s arrival.

Chinwe was offered a bottle of Guinness stout upon her request and 15 minutes later started shouting “my chest, my chest” vomiting blood. The ex-governor immediately picked up the phone and called paramedics and police, who both arrived the scene in minutes.
Paramedics however gave attention as they headed for the hospital in an ambulance but she gave up a short while after her pick up.
Police and detectives with the permission of the ex-governor, conducted an 8-hour search of his home. The Homicide unit of Montgomery County Police Department said they do not suspect foul play so far in Chinwe’s death and were awaiting autopsy results for final conclusion and further action on the ex governor.
Evidence from the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland showed that Ms. Chinwe Masi was pronounced dead on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 8.48pm after paramedics and fire service personnel arrived at the 14900 River Road, Potomac, MD residence of Chief Kalu in response to a 911 call made by someone in the residence believed to be Orji Kalu.

Suggestions that the deceased and Orji Kalu, 50, were engaged in steamy romantic encounter were not to be substantiated as it was not certain if there had been previous carvotting by the dou of Chinwe and the ex- governor..
The deceased, a resident of the city of Hyattsville, Maryland who was once married to Mr. Okechukwu Ogbonna had just returned from Nigeria after a short visit. Her friends and relatives said she was full of life during her stay in Nigeria.
A female spokesperson for the Montgomery Police confirmed the story saying : “On Thursday 08-19-2010, fire rescue personnel responded to a 911 call at 14900 River Road, Potomac, MD. The call was not by the female who needed help. Chinwe Masi, a 47 year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene by responders. The cause of her sudden death is undetermined. Usually an autopsy would reveal the exact cause.”
Chief Orji Uzor Kalu is believed to be officially married to Ifeoma Ada Kalu.
He is expected to arrive London after he had been cleared of any wrong doing by United States police.
