Hon Segun Erinle: Big accountability to the people
Many youths of Ilejemeje in Ilejemeje Constituency of Ekiti State have sent a message of congratulations to Honorable Segun Erinle, the London based politician who recently won the membership of the State House of Assembly under Action Congress of Nigeria.
The youths commended the Ekiti House member for sharing their agony and beckoning a hope for the future
Mr Erinle for some time has been the toast of the youths ever since he moved back home from his London base and embarking on a rural health transformation scheme, giving medical treatment to all members of the community.
He was among the members of the state House of Assembly sworn- in on Monday in Ado Ekiti, the State Capital to take the mantle of leadership in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
As he was sworn in on Monday, the Ilejemeje Constituency representative in Ekiti State, assured all citizens of the Constituency of excellent governance and a new era of welfare provision to bring succor and relief to the people.
Mr Erinle assured that the State would lead the country in the alleviation of most biting national issues, especially in the areas of hunger and infrastructural provisions.
He said the government, being aware of the plight of the state indigines would speed up improvement of the social condition of the people of the community, especially in the area of food and social services provision.
According to him, efforts would be made to improve the infrastructural facilities in the State as quickly as possible.
“As a member of the State Assembly, I will strive to uphold all my election promises and make the people feel the impact of governance more than ever before in the constituency.
Mr Erinle was speaking to EMNnews briefly after being sworn in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital.
He however laid his avowed programmes saying he would never lay back in his quest to deliver to the people.
Among other goodies, Erinle has promised:
* A five thousand Naira Welfare package to all heads woman in Ilejemeje
*Setting up of an ultra modern abattoir center to create immediate job for hundreds within the local government area immediately.
* Set up a forum for youth empowerment to set in motion all machinery of educational development and putting in place a scholarship scheme to help less privilege ambitious children
* Creation of a research center for mechanised farming and making Agriculture the main stay of the state and constituency economic development.

* Will demojstrate accountability by holding a quarterly review of governmental activities through address to all stakeholders in the local government.
